Ford India has sold 10,634 vehicles in combined domestic wholesale and export sales in January 2014, up 49pc from 7115 units a year earlier.
Domestic sales for January remained steady at 6,706 units despite challenging market conditions, compared with 6,062 units in January last year. Exports totalled 3,928 units, up from 1,053 units in January 2013.
Meanwhile, Ford will unveil a new global concept vehicle at this year’s 12th New Delhi Auto Expo 2014. Based on a global design philosophy, but created to serve the specific needs of consumers in India, the concept will showcase Ford’s vision for the future in the competitive compact-car segment in India and other dynamic emerging markets.
